Firstly, if you are new to the list, WELCOME :D.

Last week I had informed you all of the Intern Recruiting Event at McGill University. It was this Monday and I must tell you it was a HUGE success! It all happened so fast- perhaps the fastest 2 hours of my life. I was scheduled for 12 ten-minutes interviews back-to-back, followed by several other potential candidates who had reached out before and after the event showing interest. A few candidates have been short-listed and I will be reaching out to them hopefully before the end of this week, fingers crossed!

On another positive note as well, DOT has been officially incorporated!

Now, our focus shifts back to developing the product and I am hoping to get our first beta version up and running by the 27th of May 2015. This would open several doors, and we will be able to begin our clinical testing soon after.

MISSION

Help families with ADHD. Using cutting edge technology, DOT aims to provide a solution for families struggling with ADHD. It is a collaborative platform where voices are heard.

BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

DOT serves the purpose of diagnosis and therapy for children with ADHD. It maps a child’s brain signals to the child’s behaviour. Dot incorporates neurofeedback to help the child develop cognitive abilities.

COMPANY BACKGROUND

The one-fit-for all approach being used at many healthcare institutions is the reason why DOT was found. There are obvious discrepancies in the educational system for children with special needs. These children are not taught in the right manner. Dot aims to bridge this gap.
